How we do our bit
At William Alexander, we believe that our business activities should have a net positive impact. That's why giving back is one of the central pillars of our corporate social responsibility (CSR) and business strategy, and sees us taking steps to minimise our environmental impact and support local charities with donations of money, time and expertise.
As a recruitment company, we are especially passionate about giving people who haven’t had the best start in life, a leg up the career ladder through opening up access to skills training.

Charitable donations
We donate a percentage of our profits each year to charities that provide skills training and employment opportunities to people from disadvantaged communities in our home county of Sussex.
Our funding of £90,087 to date has helped initiatives including Bramber Bakehouse, Spear Brighton and Conversation Over Borders.

William Alexander are proud to support marine conservation and climate action through Carbon Neutral Britain’s Sea Kelp Recovery and Management Project, which aligns with our values and location. This initiative, part of CNB’s wider UK Climate Action programme, enhances biodiversity and promotes blue carbon habitats along more than 40 kilometres of the Sussex coastline. Our verified carbon offsetting is managed separately through CNB’s certified schemes.
